As a lighting designer with a diverse background in theatre and entertainment, I have a passion for innovative themed environments, immersive guest experiences, and design that pushes the boundaries of technology while helping to tell a story.
I have been studying theatre since 2006, achieving my B.A. in Theatrical Technology and Production from Western Michigan University and my M.F.A in Theatrical Lighting Design from California State University Long Beach.
Since 2013, I have been actively working in theatre and themed entertainment. My design work has included organizations such as Rogue Artist’s Ensemble, DIAVOLO Dance Company, The L.A. Choral Lab, The Natural History Museum of L.A. County, and my role as lighting designer at Thinkwell Group for over two years.
I maintain a freelance career as a lighting designer and consultant for theatre, dance, theme parks, architectural spaces, and museums in the Greater Los Angeles Area. If you would like to see examples of my architectural lighting work, please reach out via the submission form below. I am familiar with Hog, ETC, and GrandMA programming and my personal console, a Hedgehog 4X, is available for rent with my services as a freelance lighting designer.
Currently, I am a lighting designer with Disney Live Entertainment responsible for lighting parades and special events at the Disneyland Resort.
